Who this is for
A wrong price on the website is an argument at the till.
The menu changes weekly, and it lives in five places: the site, the PDF someone downloads, the table card, the window, and the lunch photo you post. Retyping it into all five is how they end up disagreeing — and the one that is wrong is always the one the customer read.
Write the week once. A dish with a missing allergen does not publish at all, and a price that changed after the kitchen confirmed it stops and asks rather than quietly going out.
